President Asif Ali Zardari met Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab executive members, besides Federal and provincial ministers and other senior leaders on Saturday. President said that only a strong PPP could ensure a strong federation and the PPP leadership should not back out from the politics of reconciliation despite all opposition.

Meanwhile, the PPP sources said that the security of the Governor House has been notched up after a demand from the presidential camp.
